Our School Community 

Chapel of Garioch School is a small rural school set within the picturesque Garioch countryside, near the foot of Bennachie. Our school serves the village of Chapel of Garioch and the surrounding rural communities, providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is known, valued and supported to succeed.

As a small school, we benefit from strong relationships between learners, staff and families. This enables us to create a welcoming atmosphere where children feel safe, develop confidence and are encouraged to achieve their full potential. Our vision, "With each other, for each other," reflects the strong sense of community and partnership that underpins life at Chapel of Garioch School.

We recognise the important role that parents and carers play in supporting learning and work closely with families to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners. Through regular communication, shared events and opportunities for collaboration, we seek to build positive and meaningful partnerships with our school community.

Our learners benefit from a range of partnerships and real-life learning opportunities that enrich the curriculum and help them make meaningful connections between their learning and the wider world. Working alongside local organisations, community groups and partners allows us to develop learners' skills, confidence and understanding of their role within society.

Chapel of Garioch School is part of the Inverurie Community Schools Network, with learners progressing to Inverurie Academy for secondary education. These strong links support continuity in learning and provide opportunities for collaboration across the wider learning community.
