The School

Chapel of Garioch School is set amidst beautiful scenery
near the foot of Bennachie, about five miles from Inverurie
and twenty miles from Aberdeen.
Built over 100 years ago, the building is typical of many
rural schools in Aberdeenshire and although old the building
is in good repair. There are three classrooms, a general
purpose room, cloakroom and toilets. A recent extension
included a new staff room and an office for the Head Teacher.
This released the original staff room as an office for the
School Administrator.
Outside there is a hard playground area and a large playing
field surrounded by pine trees. Meals are cooked in the
kitchen.
